In August 2022, TentaGrow Integrated Farms achieved a significant milestone by securing a contract with Jobberman Nigeria as the Lead Generation and Logistics partner in Ondo State, Nigeria. This collaboration was made possible through the ongoing partnership between Jobberman Nigeria with the Mastercard Foundation initiative, “Young Africa Works” (YAW). The primary objective of this initiative is to combat unemployment in Nigeria by training 1.8 million Nigerian youths ( aged between 18 and 35) with essential soft skills and entrepreneurial training, with the goal of enabling 600,000 of them to secure dignified and sustainable employment opportunities by 2025.
Building on the success recorded in Ondo state in the first few months, TentaGrow later expanded its impact by securing a similar contract in Oyo State, Nigeria within the same year. Through these partnerships, TentaGrow has successfully mobilised over 120,000 youths, providing them with essential logistics support to participate in the training and get certified by Jobberman.
Looking ahead, TentaGrow is steadfast in its commitment to further scale its impact, aiming to reach over 150,000 youths by the end of 2024. This strategic vision aligns with our core mission of empowering the vibrant Nigerian youth population to acquire the necessary skills for job creation and sustainability, fostering independence and meaningful contributions to the nation’s overall growth trajectory.
TentaGrow Integrated Farms’ involvement in the “Young Africa Works” project showcases its remarkable commitment to youth empowerment, job creation, and socio-economic development in Nigeria. This achievement underscores the magnitude of TentaGrow’s contributions to building a more prosperous and sustainable future for the nation and its youth population.
